These Rubbbermaid carts are worth their weight in gold to most businesses. They seem expensive until you have used a cheaper cart and then one of these. This rolls like it was gliding on rails. It simply goes where you need it to go empty or with a 500lb load. I like this design with the smooth top as it allows you place larger items on top. (The ones with a "bin" on top limit you within that bin space). But also key to this model is that the height of that top shelf is lower than other Rubbermaid models which is nice as who wants to strain lifting heavy objects higher than you have to?
Another thing that makes these carts so nice is the material they are made out of is both tough but yet soft on objects and allows the entire cart to be a non-marking bumper. Try hitting a door/wall with a corner of a wire style cart to see what happens. If you hit it with enough force, you will snap the cheap plastic piece holding that top shelf up and whatever you have on the top will go sliding on the floor while the now lose shelf crushes the items below it. Not fun at all...lets just say there is a reason these Rubbermaid carts sell for almost as much used as they do new--durability.
These Rubbermaid Utility Carts are great! They are perfect for our needs, and they appear and feel sturdy enough. We hope they serve us well for years.
